We are looking for a business analyst for an assignment with one of our clients in Gothenburg, a global financial services company and part of a leading Swedish industrial group. The client runs three global platforms that manage customer contracts, loans, leases and rentals across markets in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. Each has grown its own way of writing requirements, testing and releasing. Your job is to understand all three, write specifications that hold across them, and bring the ways of working closer together.

You are employed as a consultant with Biner and step straight into the assignment with the client. The role is on site in Gothenburg, the client does not work with remote or hybrid setups. The assignment can, over time, move into permanent employment with the client.

What you will do

• Lead process analysis, workshops, gap assessments and requirements gathering, and translate business needs into functional solution designs and acceptance criteria.

• Own the requirement through its whole life, from the first business conversation to the tested and released solution.

• Drive roadmap planning, platform standardisation, cross-market alignment and adoption strategies across the three platforms, and ensure compliance, governance and business value realisation.

• Act as the key interface between stakeholders, product owners, markets and vendors, prioritise requirements and coordinate delivery activities.

• Lead UAT, business acceptance, release sign-off and solution validation, and make sure delivered capabilities meet business objectives.

• Compare how the three platforms handle the same process, for example invoice testing, and propose one common way of doing it.

• Build high-level knowledge across multiple CMS platforms, identify optimisation opportunities and drive process improvements globally.

• Support market rollouts and migrations, and produce documentation, process flows and specifications that hold up for reuse.

Who you are

• Seven to ten years in business analysis, requirements engineering or a similar role in complex IT delivery, ideally in financial services.

• You write requirements and specifications that hold up under scrutiny from both business and development.

• You know testing from the inside, including scenarios, validation criteria, regression and UAT.

• You are technically literate and comfortable discussing integrations, data flows and configuration with technical teams.

• You are curious about how a business actually works and you ask until you understand it.

• You work independently, take end to end ownership and adapt easily when the structure is still being formed.

• You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in writing and in person.

Merits

• Asset finance, leasing, rental, contract management or payments.

• Finance and CMS platforms such as Aryza, FIS, Alfa, Solifi, Sofico or Oracle.

• Configuration experience, data mapping and integration requirements.

• Data validation, for example through SQL based checks.

• Multi market rollouts, system migrations, and agile frameworks such as SAFe.
